In Memoriam - Dr Bill Dawson 18 March 2026 APS was very sorry to learn that Dr Bill Dawson died suddenly... APS was very sorry to learn that Dr Bill Dawson died suddenly on 20 February. Bill was a founder member of APS, past Chairman, Past Board member and past Advisory Board Member. He also set up the accreditation process and was a member of the accreditation team. Bill had a long and distinguished career as a pharmaceutical scientist and will be sadly missed.

APS Opens Applications for 2026 Fellowships 16 January 2026 The APS is delighted to announce that applications for 2026 APS Fellowships are now open. A Fellowship is the highest and most prestigious honour awarded by the APS to Members each year in recognition of their contribution to the Academy and their accomplishment and impact in any sector of the Pharmaceutical Sciences. Recipients of the APS Fellowship(s) will be recognised at the PharmSci Conference being held in Newcastle from 7th - 9th September 2026. Find out more and apply here. APS Announces New Treasurer 29 December 2025 The APS is delighted to announce that the new APS Treasurer is Kieran Sproston. I am grateful for the chance to continue supporting APS in the role of Treasurer. I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to Bob Clay for his outstanding contributions during his tenure as Treasurer and for generously sharing his knowledge and guidance as I step into this position."
