After three years chairing the Emerging Technologies Focus Group, Dimitrios Lamprou has decided to stand down.  The APS are pleased to announce that Dr Atheer Awad will now be the Emerging Technologies Focus Group Lead.

Your continued feedback is welcome. Jo Craig as the PharmSci 2023 Conference Chair and Hannah Batchelor as the current APS Chair were delighted with the APS PharmSci 2023 Conference in Reading from 5-7th September 2023.

The Biopharmaceutics Focus Group hosted a workshop in June 2023 in London. The aim of the event was to provide the attendees with the core theoretical principles and the application of biopharmaceutics for the development of oral drug products, which were delivered by a mix of industrial and academic experts in oral biopharmaceutics.

This year we had the pleasure to host the Industrial Insights event at Astrazeneca in Macclesfield. After 3 years of virtual events, students from different courses could finally visit our labs and meet face-to-face with different professionals from the pharmaceutical industry.
