Miss Heather Walton

Miss Heather Walton, CPI

Heather studied chemistry at the University of Strathclyde including an industrial placement year where she was first introduced to large scale manufacturing. She then gained experience in the pharmaceutical industry working in development and manufacture of novel oral drug formulations for use in clinical trials. Now working at CPI’s Medicines Manufacturing Innovation Centre, she applies her chemistry knowledge and manufacturing experience to ease introduction of novel technology into the highly-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, focusing on manufacture of new modality drug substances.

Dr Khaled Takieddin

Dr Khaled Takieddin, Senior AI Product Manager, Envision AI Labs, Envision Pharma Group

Senior AI Product Manager with a multidisciplinary background spanning artificial intelligence, data science, pharmaceuticals, and digital product innovation. With experience across research, healthcare, and technology-driven product leadership, he has worked on developing AI-enabled solutions that bridge scientific and commercial needs. Holding a PhD in Material Science from The School of Pharmacy and Chemistry, University of East Anglia, UK.

Simran Duhra, Raw Material Physical Chemist, Haleon

After graduating with an MSci from Queen Mary university in 2021 I started working in the paints and coatings industry for 4.5 years. I have recently moved to pharmaceutical industry as a raw material physical chemist.
